課程前言：

逆境風險可以成為我們的動力，伴隨的壓力也可以摧毀我們的思維，情緒和健康，并讓我們加速衰老。Vistage 2008年報道100% 2400位參加調(diào)查的總裁抱怨壓力。哈里斯2007年發(fā)現(xiàn)多達80%的員工飽受壓力。調(diào)查顯示，在高級管理者中，情商對于個人成敗的影響力是智商的九倍。吸毒和飲酒往往只給日后帶來更多的災難。華甚霍治調(diào)查顯示，工作壓力是造成員工離職的第一原因。美國壓力協(xié)會2007年估價壓力造成美國公司每年300億美金的健康消費、人才流失以及事假。

COURSE INTRODUCTION:
Adversity can motivate us, but its associated stress can also destroy our clear mind, health and emotions, and make us age fast. Vistage 2008 reported that 100% of 2400 CEOs participated in the survey complained about the pressure. Harris in 2007 found that up to 80% of employees were suffering from stress.  Study has indicated that Emotional Quotient can affect the performance of an executive as 9 times as IQ. Drug and alcohol use often only bring more disaster to the future. Watson Wyatt Worldwide reported that 52 % of the participating companies are struggling to retain their top-performing employees, mostly due to work-related stress (2007).  American Institute of Stress reported in 2007 that stress costs U.S. corporations $300 billion annually in medical costs, turnover and absenteeism.

C.面對挑戰(zhàn)，身處逆境時:
